Donated School Supplies Delivered!

The Buddhist Temple of San Diego and its Dana Group would like to thank temple members and Dharma friends who supported our 2023 School Supplies Donation Drive. Once again, we partnered with Hope for San Diego to provide school supplies to under-served children in our community.

This donation drive officially closed on June 30th, and all donated school supplies were delivered to Hope for San Diego on July 6, 2023. Hope for San Diego received a good mix of pencils, erasers, rulers, scissors, pencil pouches, crayons, markers, and many other school items. They were especially grateful for the large amount of binder filler paper and notebooks that were delivered.   

All these supplies that were so generously donated by our temple members and Dharma friends will make a huge difference in preparing these kids for the upcoming school year.

Our donations will be put into backpacks by Hope for San Diego and will be delivered to students later this month. Thank you so much for your generosity.
