Kenji sENSEI conducts the Shotsuki Hoyo service for July and uses the opening words of the preamble to the Constitution of the United States in its Buddhist sense to help us make sense of the major events facing us all as U.S. citizens.
In his Dharma talk "We the People," Kenji Sensei illuminates how we as the people have a path forward in addressing such problems as COVID-19, racial inequality, and climate change that is deeply integrated with our Buddhist way of life.
The monthly Shotsuki Hoyo memorial service allows us to honor loved ones who passed away iin the month of July, whether last year, five years, or fifty year ago.
