NEW PHOTOS from Cherry Blossom Festival in March
Misplaced by our Web editor for months, here are two photos from the Cherry Blossom Festival courtesy of Dharma Friend Joe Cross, from inside the Exhibit Hall at the March 2024 event at the Japanese Friendship Garden. Shown below are Norman Kiyono, Sharon Sasaki, and Bill Teague.
Note: Apologies to Mr. Cross for this delay.
You can click on either of the two images below if you wish to see the image in higher resolution.
More Sangha members took shifts at our Information Booth, including Joyce Teague and Arturo Rubio, another of the Temple’s Certified Minister’s Assistants.
We posted videos and photos earlier this year; see below.
The 2024 Cherry Blossom Festival at the Japanese Friendship Garden closed out with a bang Sunday, March 10, with performances by both our Bon Odori dancers and the BTSD Taiko Troupe. Scroll down the page to see the two most recent videos posted!
Thanks to photographer Efton Woodford for taking the photograph, and Dance Instructor Shirley Omori for emailing it to the Temple. Here you see both groups show their strength in representing the Temple.
