Our Taiko Group Performances
in August and september 2024

LOOKING BACK AT AUGUST

Congratulations to BTSD Taiko for their recent performances. These included

 

  • Sharp Metropolitan Campus Multicultural & Diversity Fair, July 30 (employee event)

  • BTSD Obon, August 3, 5:45 p.m. with Shokenji Taiko, 7:20 p.m. with Naruwan Taiko, San Diego Taiko and Shokenji Taiko

  • La Mesa Library, August 10, 2 p.m.

Many of you joined us for the Obon Odori August 3, and were able to enjoy the collboaration tiwht other San Diego taiko troupes. The La Mesa Library performance was much appreciated by thos and several Temple members were in the audience; our Taiko group has been invited back.

BTSD continues to support community events with performances like the ones shown. Venues in boldfaced are open to the public.

  • September 12 at noon: Sharp System Services Multicultural & Diversity Fair (employee event)

WHERE TO WATCH

You can attend rehearsals as a guest after most Sunday Services (as a courtesy, introduce yourself to the Taiko leaders, usually Bobby or Chelsey Koga).
